About Our Church

CCF Church History

Pastor Jim and Jacque Harrison received Christ in the mid 70's at a church in Twain Hart, CA called Chapel in the Pines.  Their Pastor and church leaders felt the need to reach out into the surrounding areas.  After faithfully attending Chapel in the Pines for several years, Jim & Jacque were sent out in 1980 to start and lead a Bible study group in Greeley Hill, CA.  They had home Bible study meetings for two years in which they saw various signs and wonders as the Word of God was being taught. They saw their numbers grow.  This birthed the church which today we call Coulterville Christian Fellowship.

Hub Ministries

International

During the early days of CCF, in a vision, the Lord revealed to Pastor Jim a wagon wheel with various spokes connected to it.  This wheel had a hub which was the center of our ministry, the Coulterville church. The spokes were different ministries we would branch out into in other areas, both local and abroad.  We have seen this branching out already internationally in Mexico and Australia and also in other local areas.  Hub Ministries is to us as Isaac was to Abraham.  We have the vision, yet it will take several years for it to be completely fulfilled.  This will be an ongoing vision in the generations to come.

What We Believe

†  We believe that the whole Bible is the inspired Word of God, in which we are to live and pattern our lives after.

†   We believe that the Word of God "is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness".  (2 Timothy 3:16)

†  We believe in the Triune God-head of the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit.

†  We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but through man's disobedience to the Word of God, he tasted spiritual death.  (Genesis 2:15-17 & Genesis 3:1-8)  This caused a separation between man and God.  But through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and His atoning work at the cross, mankind can receive eternal redemption for their sins; the cross being the bridge that allows us total restoration to God when we receive and accept His sacrifice for our sins.

†  We believe in water baptism. It is an outward act of obedience to the Word of God. It signifies an inward change, through the redemptive work of the cross which includes: salvation, healing, deliverance and prosperity.  (3 John 3)

†  We believe that every believer in Jesus Christ is entitled to baptism in the Holy Spirit and that the evidence of that will be a speaking in unknown tongues.  (Acts 2:4)  This baptism opens us up to a realm of the Spirit so that we may function in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  (1 Corinthians 12)

†  We believe in a literal heaven & hell and that Jesus Christ will come back for those who put their faith in Him.

†  We believe that if you accept Jesus Christ today as your personal Savior, you will escape the torment of hell and partake of the wonderful bliss of heaven.

Vision and Prophesy

In 1996, during a powerful worship service, Pastor Jim had a vision from Heaven.  After the service, he wrote it down and researched the Bible to see if this vision lined up with the Word of God.  It did!  This vision God gave him spoke to him about things to come.  He knew the vision represented a great harvest.  Many years later, on Sunday, March 29, 2009 during our worship service at CCF, the Holy Spirit reminded Pastor Jim of the vision and led him to find the notes hidden somewhere in his office.  He was to share it with the congregation.  As he did and proceeded to preach the Word of God, the power of God could be felt in the building.  God is preparing His people for a mighty movement.  Below is a copy of this 1996 vision and the Scripture references Pastor Jim found.  We hope it will encourage you and speak directly to your heart.

Two Sunday's ago, after returning from a Rodney Howard Brown conference, as the Apostle John said, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day" and the Lord, as it was, came to me and took me up into Heaven.  I went in through the front gate as a musical note entered the lock on the gate and opened it.  (Psalm 24:7-10; Psalm 100:1-5; Revelation 3:7)  As I began to walk, the path lit up as if it had florescent lights underneath, you would take a step and more of the path would light up.  (Psalm 119:105; Matthew 6:28)  Flowers beside the path began to pop up, they were like daisies in appearance but it was as though they were alive!  They turned toward me each step of the way.  As I looked in the distance, I saw a great mansion.  (John 14:1-3)  As I walked closer, I saw there was a river flowing out of both ends of the mansion.  (Rev. 22:1-5)  The tree of life was standing by it.  Then out of no where came a great light, as if the sun was rising over the mansion but it was already light out.  (Malachi 4:2)  The flowers began to look ahead of me as if they were worshiping.  I looked and saw Jesus, and some of his disciples, as it were, with Him.  He took me down to the river.  There seemed to be a lot of activity there.  There were maidens in the river and Jesus was standing in the water, cleansing the people of their sins.  As it was, they had normal clothes on when they went in, but came out with a white glistening robe that said across it: "Washed in the Blood of the Lamb."  The clothes we had on was our flesh, our own righteousness (Isaiah 64:6) which in appearance looked like normal clothes, but in comparison with His robe of righteousness, they were filthy.  (Rev. 7:11-17, Isaiah 61:10-11)  I went down into the River of Life, there was a little white sign that said: "River of Life."  I came out of it and the dirt didn't stick to my feet.  Jesus looked at me in the eyes and said: "You have been faithful in little, I will make you faithful in much.  For a great work I have called you to."  Then He laid hands on my head and with this He touched my hands and said: "A great work I have called you to.  Go therefore."

That Sunday, we had a four hour and fifteen minute service.  People were coming to the River, being cleansed, delivered and healed.  They were drunk in the Spirit, Holy laughter broke out and people were falling under the power of God.  We've had those same types of manifestations over and over.

Acts 1:9:23 says:  "And about that time there arose a great commotion about the way."  I hear a great commotion coming our way. Get ready to receive!  Amen.

A Prophecy

Over twenty five years ago, the Lord revealed to Pastor Jim a wagon wheel with various spokes connected to it. There was a wheel within a wheel, a hub. This hub, was the center of our ministry, the Coulterville church, and the spokes were different ministries we would branch out into, both locally and internationally.

Over the years, Pastor Jim and Jacque have stood on that vision, believing God would bring this promise into fruition.  CCF has seen some of this come to pass.  But Pastor Jim has believed there is more to come.

In January 2009, Pastor Jim attended a conference in Southern California.  Minister and keynote speaker Joshua Mills was speaking at the conference.  After worship had ended and Joshua Mills began to speak, he called out Pastor Jim from the audience.  The two had never met before and knew nothing of each other. This was a last minute decision to attend the conference and Pastor Jim had not filled out any forms that would indicate he was a pastor, where he came from, etc.  God was speaking directly to Pastor Jim through Joshua Mills.  What was said was incredible!  God was confirming and reaffirming the vision Pastor Jim had seen over twenty five years ago.

We have included an audio clip of the prophecy spoken over Pastor Jim at the conference.  It's important to keep several  things in mind as you listen to the audio:
 1) Pastor Jim's vision of the wheel, the hub (the wheel within the wheel), the spokes and what it means for the ministry was given to him over 25 years ago.

2) Only a few months prior to the conference, CCF moved out of it's old building and into our Sunday School building while we raised money to build a new Sanctuary adjacent to the Sunday School.  The new building address was going to be 5033 Main Street. None of that information had been made public.

3) While Pastor Jim was away at the conference, Pastor Jacque preached that Sunday.  During our morning announcements, she announced that we would be having a fundraising chart to track the money raised for the first phase of our new Sanctuary building project.  Instead of the usual "thermometer" chart most people use, she used the analogy of planting seeds in a garden and new flowers blooming for the board that would be tracking our fundraising efforts.

4) There had been technical difficulties at the conference with the audio system.  After several attempts, the only portion of the entire conference that was recorded was the opening worship and the prophecy spoken over Pastor Jim.  God's hand was definitely in this!
